Following the surprise announcement that Season 2 of ’13 Reasons Why’ premieres on May 18, people are going crazy seeing the trailer and noticing some new exciting things. Amidst the trailer’s sea of polaroids swimming around the characters, we can see one particular person or character in a precarious position. And this new character in the season 2 of the Netflix series ’13 Reasons Why’ wasn’t instantly recognizable to many.
The girl propped up in a chair next to the dangerous Bryce has sparked massive interest among fans. So now the question arises who is this girl, Chloe in the season 2 of the Netflix series ’13 Reasons Why’?
The first glimpse of Chloe, the new it girl, head cheerleader and a totally new character, is introduced when it’s Bryce’s turn in its spotlight. Anne Winters is the one who will be playing Chloe, new head cheerleader and It girl of Liberty High in the season 2 of the Netflix series ’13 Reasons Why’.
Anne has always been open in front of the camera as she appeared in her first musical when she was 4-year-old. The Dallas beauty has been traveling back and forth between her hometown and Los Angeles during high school for acting gigs and made the move there once she graduated.
The actor had played recurring roles in TV shows like Wicked City, The Fosters, Zac and Mia, and Tyrant. Anne Winters also made an appearance on Liv and Maddie.
One of seven new additions to the show, Chloe is the popular head cheerleader and the new It girl at Liberty High who is naturally drawn to Bryce’s crowd of football players. As for her newest role as the new It girl and head cheerleader, “Chloe is a very different character than other people I’ve played,” Winters said. “I can’t really tell you too much, but I can say that I am one of the new characters and you will see a lot of me.”
While Winters classified Chloe as a mean girl, she promised that the characters have more layers that will prove essential to the season’s storyline. She said “I think I represent the blurred lines — in season one it’s very black-and-white of what’s right and wrong — and I think my character explores a very medium line. I’m really happy that I got to portray this character. I think a lot of girls will relate to it. I definitely did.”
In the same interview, Winters also pointed out that Chloe being a new character doesn’t necessarily mean that she’s a new student at Liberty High.
